Zomato, Blinkit give a hilarious twist to famous Bollywood dialogue in new ad

Food delivery app Zomato (and now Blinkit) never fails to surprise us with its marketing strategies. If you scroll through his social media, you will see various interesting content which is funny and humorous at the same time. We recently came across a post on the Instagram handles of Zomato and Blinkit which left us shocked. It was a foodie rendition of a popular dialogue from a Bollywood movie. And it’s pretty funny. The dialogues “Doodh maangenge doodh denge” (Doodh maangenge, we will deliver) and “Kheer maangenge, kheer denge” (Kheer maangenge hum padaayenge) are memes of “Doodh maangenge, kheer denge; Kashmir maangenge, cheer denge” (Doodh maangenge, we will deliver) Tumhe kheer denge, lekin agar tumne kashmir manga, to hum tumhe faad denge). This dialogue was from the 2002 film ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’. According to the post, both these slogans are appearing on the billboards of the food delivery platform, which Mirroring each other.

Zomato shared the ad collaboration (with Blinkit) on Instagram and wrote, “The Insta Collab featuring a Billboard Collab.” In June 2022, Zomato acquired Blinkit (formerly Grofers) in an all-stock deal worth Rs 4,447 crore.

The post has so far garnered over 80k likes and hundreds of amusing comments. “This is super cool,” wrote entrepreneur Ashneer Grover. Another person said, “Well done both of you.” One user commented, ‘Made it insta-official.’
