Five planets in a row! A cosmic spectacle visible on March 28. details here

Another cosmic sight is likely to be seen in the last week of March. This time on March 28, five planets including the Moon will be seen in an almost arcuate form.

Various international media reported on this rare astronomical event.

The five planets will not be in a straight line but like an arc.

Will all the planets be visible?

According to a Fox News report, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Uranus will be visible after sunset on March 28.

Jupiter will appear brighter than Mercury. Venus will be the brightest planet in the whole group.

Venus will be brighter to the upper left of Jupiter and Mercury.

Venus will be visible to the naked eye because it is the most dazzling of all the other planets. Uranus will be most difficult to find without visual aids. Uranus will be visible near Venus but very rarely.

And, Mars will also appear very high in the sky and have a noticeable color.

On March 1, Vesper And Jupiter came together.

During February, Jupiter and Venus were aligned with the Moon and were drawing closer to each other.

Planetary conjunctions often occur in the Solar System because, “the planets orbit the Sun in roughly the same plane—the ecliptic plane—and thus trace similar paths across our sky,” according to NASA,

Separately, an astronomer discovered a new comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) last week. The comet was discovered independently by astronomers at the Purple Mountain Observatory. China and the asteroid terrestrial-impact final warning system, ATLAS. It is currently between the orbits of Jupiter and Saturn, about a billion kilometers from Earth.

It is falling inward, moving into an orbit that will bring it within 59 million kilometers of the Sun in September 2024.

The fact that the comet was found when it was so far away is cause for enthusiasm among astronomers.

Although currently about 60,000 times too faint to be seen with the naked eye, the comet is bright for something so far from the Sun.

And observations suggest that it is following an orbit that may allow it to become truly spectacular.
